Wyre Forest Home Choice

This is where you can apply to join the housing register and access social housing in the Wyre Forest District. Social housing means affordable homes to rent or part-buy, provided by housing associations (also called registered providers).

How it works

1. Create an account
   Start by setting up your account. Then follow the steps to build your profile — including details about who lives with you and your address history.
2. Apply to join the housing register
   If you want a housing association tenancy, you’ll need to complete the application form. It’s detailed and asks for lots of information about your circumstances, so we recommend using a laptop.
3. Upload supporting documents
   You will then need to upload requested documents directly to your account.
4. Assessment and banding
   Once you have completed all your actions, including your supporting documents, we’ll check your application against our allocations policy. If you qualify, we’ll confirm your band, bedroom need, and registration date.
   Please note: We’re receiving a very high number of applications, so it may take some time to assess yours.
